The Argenteuil Hospital Foundation has not stopped working because of the pandemic. Over the last few months, various equipments have been acquired and different projects are underway. Here are a few:
Last February, we received $6,000 from our provincial member of parliament, Agnès Grondin, to invest in different activities in our CHSLD such as chair yoga classes, pet therapy and many others. Therefore, each of our 3 establishments (Pavillon, Unité Lafontaine and Lachute Residence) will receive $2,000 thanks to Mme Grondin.
Thanks to the Caisse Populaire de Lachute, Création DD and the Users Committee of the CMSSS d’Argenteuil , we are now offering a coloring book and crayons to all the children visiting the Youth Center in Lachute, the CLSC, the Argenteuil Hospital emergency department and even the Covid vaccination center. This should make their waiting time more pleasant.
Then, last April, the team from Walmart sent us a lot of gifts to be distributed to the personnel of the hospital in lieu of thanks for their outstanding work during the pandemic. Coffee mugs, granola bars, work uniforms, candles and many more were given to our health care workers.
